I know my buddy Tim has a kit he bought for his 2006 chevy that has heims all over it, I think Radonkey knows witch one I am speaking of, I have also seen the mustang upgrade suspention use heims and track bars on the Dodges with heims on one end

just goes to show what i know about off the shelf lift kits i guess. thats why i build my own

I used Rubicon Express joints on my last set of lowers and in my opinion the sucked. On big walls if I didn't make it and came down hard on the rear axle they would shoot apart and wipe out the threads. On the other hand Boxmuncher has had his for a 100 years with no problems

That's exactly why on the other forum I said in this case its okay to throw the builder under the bus. What if someone else takes their rig to him/her unknowingly. Anyone can say they are fabbers and if you arn't how are you too know that person that says they are is or isn't. Even in my roopkie worst days (1989 dodge dakota ifs to straight axle) I had a basic idea of right and wrong. And that was long before the Internets was here to give us unlimited info. Anyways its getting done right.

I'm pretty sure they mean running hiems in the steering not the links. It wouldn't even matter on the links cause all the ones i've ever seen are mounted double shear where as on the steering a lot of people don't or can't.
