ya no more doors Jerad got a set of those god awful abortion 4xinovation tube doors and I talked him into tieing the exo in with some doors bars that would help with the flow of the cage and not get hung up on the B-pillar that was out about 4inches from the tube door. The links are for tims yota that he's blown like ten motors in the new setup is linked with coilovers and complete tailsection it will be sweet .........

Well after the club challenge my buddy josh had enough of the 500 extra pounds of body and exo on the rear half of his runner so he dropped it off yesterday and I got to cutting

yes sir all is staying just narrowed and with more tube less body, I bet one of those tail light corners I cut off was a good 20 pounds with all the internal panel braces and what not crazy I bet the ass end sits 6" higher than it did when it showed up big time stink bug look

Ha I was wondering if anyone was going to notice the B-pillar cross tube inparticular it is sleeved and non extractable in the location of the sleeve because its in the middle of the (two peace B-pillar), instead of the B being one peace the A-C is a single peace with a sleeve at the B making it technically a 2 peace tube? And a 1.500" tube inside I couldn’t figure out why my HF sawzaw was having such a time on those two tubes IDK if it was the saw or tube probably both in my case....

Thats right she's running strong as could be with the .035 wire think it's time for a notcher though mine is on its last leg and going to order up a kit of dimple dies in the next week to add to my arsenal

it's a 10 peice set that you use in a press .500" - 3.000" kit for 290 plus shipping

Well the runner left today had a very interesting long week with work and work in garage anyways buttoned this project up last night and it left this afternoon


Deck, HI-Lift and Power Tank mounted


Brackets to mount the fenders to cut down on them vibrating and making noise


and the Power Tank mount that little tank is damn heavy so this should hold it down good all tabs have nuts welded to the back side of them so you’re not fishing your arm under the panel trying to reach all the way to the middle of the deck lid

seat mounts and front fender bars have to be reworked to fit those 40's and it will be on its way to his house to get finished up.

Getting close to the new year rez to not owe anymore work to anyone this up comeing year and get back on track with my own shit

I've taken on a shit ton of fab work in the last month on top of a regular 40HR week and the damn holidays

Got to it this evening and got the fender bars all built, with a skin over it outlineing the tube it will look real nice

And also as I had mentioned earlier the notcher of mine was on its last leg and gave up the ghost last night. So after trying to jimmy rig it to notch with two clamps and Tim holding the tube we said fuck it and ran to HF and snatched up the peace of you know what to get some more tube work done. While I was setting it up I had noticed the base was diff and had allot of play and flop in it so I cut out a few .250" plate and let the notcher have some
the notcher doesn’t bounce in the vise at all now.

BUY THE BETTER LENOX HOLE SAWS......THEY SEEM TO WORK BETTER WHEN USED FOR NOTCHING TUBE..... MY 1.5" ONE HAS BUILT 4 CHASSIS......

what notcher do you have I built my toyota with one hole saw and some side jobs it is very possible to get realy good life from a single hole saw just have to be nice and not hammer on them

I had one of the summit brand notchers (bronze bushing) for almost 2 years now Worked great and the clamping block finaly stripped out on it....

The next one I get will be from trick tools with a bearing or I may build one when I get time looks simple enough to build

I HAVE THE M-TECH TN-100, I HAVE HAD IT FOR AS LONG AS I HAVE HAD MY BENDER.... I DONT USE ANY LUBE ON MY HOLD SAWS AND HAVE HAD GOOD LUCK...THE ONLY WAY I HAVE EVER RUINED A HOLE SAW IS BY NO STOPPING THE DRILL AFTER THE NOTCH AND HAVE THE NOTCHED SCRAP COME OUT AND BREAK OFF THE TEETH.....
