Kinda what I was thinking.... Well the spare tire part anyway, this thing only does 40 mph. Hammers, yes! KOH, never gonna happen.

I didn't say WIN KOH, most can't even finish, and you don't have to do 100mph to finish. A proven rig! I can't wait for the backlash I get for saying that!

Would I benefit from moving the track rod brackets out and and getting some more length outta it? Looks like I could get about 15 inches and flatten it out. Would it help, whats its gonna do, is it a waste of time

Probably not worth the effort...flattening out the track bar will raise your roll center a bit..it will help on side hills...havent seen your rig work so its hard to say how much it will change its handling.

What about lengthening it too? It's seems to not have much body roll and it's somewhat predictable. I just wanna do whatever possible to keep it flat and planted to the ground if that makes sense.

On all but one rig I have built with a 3 link panhard up front I set the shocks to the middle of their travel and made tha panhard flat at that point and as long as possible...they all work great...it really seemed to help on the single seaters as Zebarus climbs a steeper vert before needing the winch to suck the nose daow...mine still has a panhard that looks like your and needs the winch all the time.

heres an old pic with a bent panhard to achieve that tall axle mount...

With it set at middle travel of the shocks then at right height its actually inverted? And does this distance need to be equal in length......

Yes the chassis side ends up being lower that the axle side... At ride height.Thats why the pan hard is bent or it would have to pass through the rail. I didnt worry about it having equal length because the chassis bracket would be really long.

The fact its inverted helps on side hills because its hard for the chassis to get over center and keep continuing to lean.

That old buggy easily out crawls my current one.

Thats good to know, Im staring to think this might be worth doing now. I can probably get away with just building a new axle side mount.

Its on my list to do to my single seater too... Except I gotta do it front and rear! The axle side mounts are tall as hell like 13" away from the top of the axle housings..
