I'm still confused though... Being as RockApe is a big TV star, and a premeir chassis builder now, with all the single seater's that RockApe Chassisworx is selling, when will he have time to build a 2 seater?

i would run the LQ9 as is. it will be about 2in longer with truck accessories than the LS stuff, but since you have both you could always swap it over. the iron block = 80lb more than the LS, not that big a deal IMO. looks like you'll need a cable throttle body for it though. i cut all those plastic tabs off that stick up on the truck intake. everyone seems to agree that the if you can run it, the truck intake does produce more low end torque.

I'M STILL WAITING ON THE TEASER CHASSIS PICK YOU CHICKEN-SHIT!

I got a toyota tcase with a gm adapter i'll sell ya. its REALLY SMALL. it will hold up ok until you give it the GAS! actually finally ordered my 3 speed mini Stak yesterday. Cary is claiming 4 weeks, we'll see though.

i would do DSI's pan mod, and pickup with the F-Body pan. although i still think you'll want to run an accumulator for hardcore crawling. i have been running mine open all the time now and haven't had any issues since.

if you end up needing to relocate the accessories like i did, i can give you the bracket templates. alternator low drivers side & steering pump high on drivers side. you could always flip the intake around for a little more room as well.

Why not 2" 7075 lowers? I'm assuming triangulated 4 link F&R?

And I think we are going to set a record for the most popular drivetrain within a 50 mile radius record with all these LQ9/TH350/Atlas II 3.8 combo's floating around :)

I'm gonna machine my own links on the new buggy because I can do them in the lathe at TM. I think if I tried to drill and tap 1 1/4" on our lathe it would stall out or just break in half.

Looks good, why not make the main frame rails B pillar back come up to a point, and level out for the rest of the car, making it a usable floor area and not slanted? Like DSI's S&N cars?

The right side of the chassis is crooked, and make sure you use JB Weld on the tacked in areas... You know epoxy welding is the new thing !!!

I GOTTA ADMIT CUTTING UP A FRONT DANA 60 THATS WORTH $1000 IS KINDA UN-NERVING!!!bUT WITH THE EXPERT HELP FROM JESSE TO KEEP ME FROM F-ING IT UP IT ALL WENT PRETTY SMOOTH....(MINUS THE CRAPPY SAWZALL BLADES..... ) A PORTA-BAND,GRINDER,SAWZALL AND WELDER ARE PRETTY MUCH THE TOOLS NEEDED!!!

NOW MY FRONT AXLE IS THE SAME AS THE REAR 65" WMS-WMS....TOOK 2.25" OFF OF BOTH SIDES!!!!





ON TO THE FUN....MORE TUBES!!!




IM GONNA TRY TO GET THE REAR SHOCK HOOPS DONE AND MAYBE THE ROOF TOMORROW!!!!THEN ITS JUST THE FRONT HOOP AND A BUNCH OF SMALL TIE-INS!!!!

It is a Twisted Customs Chassis! Hands down the BEST ProMod chassis available! It is almost done!! Finally! I am going to bring it to my house this week and mount the steering and plumb and wire it!!
